Offers up to 100,000 bonus NAB Rewards Points and a discounted $45 annual fee in the first year, which goes to $195 after that.
The NAB Rewards Platinum card is suited to cardholders who want to get rewarded for their spending and like the flexibility of bank reward points. Right now, you can get 80,000 bonus NAB Rewards Points when you apply and spend at least $1,000 on everyday purchases within the first 60 days from account opening. And another 20,000 points when you keep your card open for over 12 months. If you do collect the maximum 100,000 bonus points, you would have enough points for $480 worth of gift cards. You could also transfer them and get 50,000 Velocity Points for frequent flyer rewards.
The NAB Rewards program also offers point transfers Cathay Pacific (Asia Miles), Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Air New Zealand Airpoints, Accor Live Limitless and Flybuys. Similar to many other credit card reward programs, you can also get retail items or donate to charitable causes. But, while the discounted $45 annual fee in the first year helps you save in the short-term, keep in mind that you’ll need to pay the ongoing $195 annual fee in the second year before you can collect the last 20,000 bonus points on offer with this card.
You need to keep the card for at least 12 months to collect all the bonus points, which means you’ll have to pay the second year annual fee

Hi, I booked a trip overseas for myself and my wife paying with my Platinum NAB card. Are we both covered for travel insurance, and where can I get the documentation to print out?
Please refer to the Overview of Travel and Medical Insurance Cover by NAB Rewards Card:
You may access the benefit of this Overseas travel and medical insurance cover:
1. if you meet the eligibility criteria; and
2. the loss or damage occurs during the period of cover.
1. You were ninety (90) years of age or under before the date of departure for your trip; and
2. You (or the accompanying NAB Cardholder) had purchased on a NAB card a minimum of $500* (inclusive of taxes and other charges) of pre-booked transport costs (airfares and/or cruise) and/or land content (tours, hire cars or other hired transport and accommodation) prior to the commencement of the trip. The purchase must be debited to a NAB Card prior to your departure from Australia. The purchase must also have been transacted in one of the following ways: – If using your NAB Credit Card – purchases using your credit card facility directly charged by the merchant or using the linked PayPal account; or – If using your NAB Gold Visa Debit Card – purchases using your debit card either by using the physical card or by providing the debit card number when paying for your purchases or using linked PayPal account.
Usually, QBE will respond to requests from NAB Cardholders seeking a policy number by providing a letter of eligibility which sets out: (a) the NAB Cards Insurances policy number; and (b) the eligibility criteria.
You can go click “Go to Site” of this page. Once redirected to NAB website, look for “Important Information” and download the Product Disclosure Statement of NAB Insurance Policy to get the full details and QBE Hotline.

If i made an online purchase from an international seller (eg: amazon) what would the charges be?
Thanks for your inquiry.
There are no charges if you will be using your NAB Rewards Platinum Card when purchasing through international sellers/online stores, like Amazon. You will be informed by the seller/store if there are any fees that will include in your purchase. It should show the rundown and total of your purchase on the provided online receipt.
If I get this NAB Platinum card, can I transfer points to Qantas Frequent Flyer points on a 1 for 1 basis?
Thank you for your inquiry.
NAB Rewards points are not transferable to Qantas Frequent Flyer program. However, you may redeem them for Air New Zealand’s Airpoints, Asia Miles and Velocity Frequent Flyer Points.
You can redeem either 0.005 Airpoints Dollars or 0.33 Asia Miles or 0.5 Velocity Points for every NAB Rewards point, with a minimum transfer amount of 3,000 NAB Rewards points.
I hope this helps.

We are committed to our readers and stands by our editorial principles We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market. Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labeling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
We make money by featuring products on our site. Compensation received from the providers featured on our site can influence which products we write about as well as where and how products appear on our page, but the order or placement of these products does not influence our assessment or opinions of them, nor is it an endorsement or recommendation for them. Products marked as 'Top Pick', 'Promoted' or 'Advertisement' are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder's decision to show a 'promoted' product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category.
